Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of Vaulted Mirror. Read them completely before proceeding.

Vaulted Mirror consists of two components: (1) this website (geniemirror.com), which provides information and facilitates invitation acceptance, and (2) a dedicated, air-gapped device delivered to you upon acceptance.

Important: These Terms include an arbitration provision. Disputes may be resolved through arbitration rather than in court. Class action lawsuits are not permitted.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Genie BRM, Inc ("we", "us", or "our") provides Vaulted Mirror subject to your agreement to these Terms of Service.

By accepting an invitation and receiving a Vaulted Mirror device, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not accept an invitation.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Vaulted Mirror is an air-gapped judgment system delivered as a dedicated, offline device. It is designed for recording decisions at declaration, measuring behavioral patterns under pressure, and surfacing identity drift between stated values and executed behavior.

Vaulted Mirror is not therapy. It is not coaching. It is not advice. It does not provide emotional support, encouragement, or reassurance.

Vaulted Mirror is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need professional support, seek help from qualified healthcare providers.

3. Air-Gapped Architecture

The Vaulted Mirror device operates in complete isolation:

No internet connection
No data transmission
No cloud synchronization
No remote access capability
No external updates

This architecture means we cannot access, modify, recover, or remotely control your device or its contents. These limitations are intentional and non-negotiable.

4. Encryption and Physical Security

All data stored on the Vaulted Mirror device is encrypted at rest. The encryption key is derived from your passphrase.

Passphrase responsibility: We do not store, transmit, or have access to your passphrase. If you forget your passphrase, your data is permanently inaccessible. We cannot recover it. This is by design.

Physical security: You accept sole responsibility for:

Securing the physical device from unauthorized access
Protecting your passphrase from disclosure
Maintaining physical custody of the device
Secure destruction of the device when no longer needed

BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF THE DEVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS PHYSICAL SECURITY AND FOR REMEMBERING YOUR PASSPHRASE. WE HAVE NO ABILITY TO ACCESS, RECOVER, OR RESET YOUR DATA OR PASSPHRASE.

5. Nature of the System

You acknowledge and accept the following characteristics:

Entries cannot be edited, softened, or removed after submission
The system does not provide guidance, advice, or interpretation
Patterns surfaced may be uncomfortable, unflattering, or distressing
No one will help you process what the system reveals
The system's constraints are intentional and will not be modified

If these conditions are unacceptable, do not accept an invitation.

6. Your Data

All data you enter into the Vaulted Mirror device remains exclusively on that device.

We do not have access to your data. We cannot retrieve, view, analyze, or recover it. You are solely responsible for:

The content you enter
Physical security of the device
Backup and preservation (if desired)
Secure destruction when no longer needed

If the device is lost, damaged, or destroyed, the data is unrecoverable.

7. Eligibility

Vaulted Mirror is available only to individuals who are:

At least 18 years old
Able to enter into a legally binding agreement
Located in the United States
In possession of a valid invitation
Prepared to accept the system's constraints without exception

By accepting an invitation, you represent that you meet these requirements.

8. Device Ownership and Use

Upon delivery, the physical device becomes your property. The software and system design remain the intellectual property of Genie BRM, Inc.

You may not:

Attempt to modify, reverse engineer, or extract the software
Connect the device to any network
Transfer, sell, or provide access to the device to others
Use the device for commercial purposes
Attempt to circumvent system constraints

9. AI-Generated Content

The Vaulted Mirror device uses locally-running artificial intelligence to detect patterns and generate observations. This AI operates entirely offline on your device.

You acknowledge and agree that:

AI-generated content is observational only
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies
The AI does not replace human judgment or professional consultation
You are responsible for how you interpret and respond to observations
The system will not soften or contextualize difficult observations

10. Intellectual Property

"Vaulted Mirror" and related logos are trademarks owned by Genie BRM, Inc. The system software, design, and methodology are protected by copyright and trade secret law.

Use of our trademarks or intellectual property without prior written permission is prohibited.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE DEVICE AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the device will function without error
Warranties regarding accuracy of AI-generated content
Warranties that you will find the system's output acceptable

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

Loss of data due to device failure, damage, or destruction
Emotional distress from system-generated content
Psychological impact from patterns or observations surfaced
Decisions made based on system output
Any consequences arising from use of the system

This limitation applies regardless of legal theory.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Genie BRM, Inc, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from all losses, damages, and costs resulting from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your use of the device
Content you enter into the system
Your response to system observations

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

THIS SECTION AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. READ CAREFULLY.

Binding Arbitration

Disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Vaulted Mirror will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court.

Waiver of Jury Trial

BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL FOR DISPUTES COVERED BY THIS ARBITRATION AGREEMENT.

Waiver of Class Action

CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Arbitration Rules

Arbitration will be governed by Consumer Dispute Resolution Procedures of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

15. Governing Law

Except for the arbitration provision, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted with an updated date. Changes do not apply retroactively to devices already delivered.

17. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms and Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement.
Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect remaining provisions.
Waiver: Failure to enforce does not constitute waiver.
Assignment: We may assign without consent. You may not assign.
