Local AI, No Transmission

Vaulted Mirror uses artificial intelligence to detect behavioral patterns and generate observations. This AI runs entirely on your device.

The device is air-gapped. There is no network connection. Nothing is transmitted. Your data never leaves the physical device in your possession.

What the AI Does

The locally-running AI analyzes your decision records over time to detect:

  • Behavioral decay under pressure
  • Commitment mutation patterns
  • Avoidance behaviors
  • Identity drift between stated values and executed behavior
  • Time-to-first-action patterns
  • Recurring failure patterns

Based on accumulated data, the AI generates observations about your behavioral patterns. These observations are descriptive, not prescriptive. They are not softened, reframed, or contextualized for emotional comfort.

What the AI Does Not Do

  • Transmit data to external servers
  • Connect to the internet
  • Send information back to us
  • Contribute to model training
  • Store data externally
  • Advise, coach, or guide you
  • Provide encouragement or reassurance
  • Protect you from difficult conclusions

No External Data Use

We do not receive your data. We cannot access your device. Your entries, patterns, and AI-generated observations exist only on the device itself.

Your data is not used for:

  • Training AI models
  • Research or analytics
  • System improvements
  • Any purpose whatsoever

This is not a policy choice. It is an architectural impossibility. The device cannot transmit data because it has no transmission capability.

Limitations of AI

AI systems have limitations. You acknowledge:

  • AI-generated observations may contain inaccuracies
  • Pattern detection may miss context you consider important
  • AI may identify patterns that feel uncomfortable but are accurate
  • AI may identify patterns that feel accurate but are misleading
  • There is inherent risk of bias in AI-generated content

AI-generated observations are NOT therapy, counseling, coaching, or professional advice of any kind. Vaulted Mirror is a pattern detection system, not a healthcare or advisory service.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • How you interpret AI-generated observations
  • What actions you take based on observations
  • Physical security of the device
  • Destruction of the device when no longer needed

The system provides evidence. What you do with that evidence is your decision.
